About Rasiel

Rasiel Matos Sardina is a highly experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with over 30 years of healthcare experience, currently practicing at INOV8 Orthopedics. He specializes in orthopedic care and has spent the last 14 years working as a first assistant in total hip and knee replacement surgeries with Dr. Stefan Kreuzer, an orthopedic surgeon. Rasiel provides personalized, evidence-based treatment to help patients manage musculoskeletal conditions, restore function, and enhance overall well-being.

Rasiel holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences in Santiago de Cuba (1994) and completed his General Surgery training at the same institution in 2003. He later earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Sagrado Corazón University in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 2020, and his Nurse Practitioner training from South University in Savannah, Georgia. Additionally, he is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and is licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Surgical Assistant.

Rasiel further enhanced his expertise by earning an MBA in Healthcare Administration from American Intercontinental University in Houston, Texas, in 2013. This combination of clinical and leadership education allows him to effectively integrate patient care with healthcare management.
